We make daily trips over the imaginary boarder and into sunny Manchester, conducting a variety of work including new boiler installations, repairs and servicing, as well as EPCs, Retrofit surveys and insulation installations.

Greater Manchester is well supplied with gas mains, so while we don’t fit much First Time Central Heating jobs in this area, we do find plenty of opportunities to help households with retrofitting.

Areas that feature rows on rows of Victorian Terrance (like in areas of Oldham, Rochdale and Bolton) often suffer from poorly insulated designs: solid walls that allow too much heat to escape, suspended floors that let the draft in, and lofts that could easily benefit from loft insulation.

Likewise, post-war semi-detached homes around South Manchester, Tameside and Stockport often don’t have cavity wall insulation or could make better use of their attics by creating a Room-In-Roof: an insulated area of the loft-space that stops short of a full conversion but creates a usable space.

Our mission is to keep homes warm for less, either by helping that home generate heat more efficiently with newer, more efficient boilers, or by insulating them better. This includes rental properties, which may be eligible for ECO4 Free insulation work if the tenants themselves qualify on income/benefits criteria.
