Invictus Energy Group is one of the leading providers of new boilers and home insulation grants in North West England, but the secret to our success is simple: we created Invictus Energy Group to deliver nothing less than excellent service to our clients.

From quick and efficient new boiler installation to arranging home insulation grants for walls, floors and roofs, the excellent service we provide to our clients has always been what sets us apart from the rest. It’s a big part of why our directors set up Invictus Energy Group.

An experienced and well-respected gas engineer for over 20 years, director Paul Murphy saw a gap in the market for a truly great home energy company; one that could not only fit and maintain a range of fantastic new boilers but also help people take advantage of valuable government home energy grants to make their home more energy efficient for less, all packaged together with a 5-star-service.

Partnering with successful businessman and personal friend of 25 years, Mr Paul Tilley, the two founded Invictus Energy Group to deliver their vision. While the focus of the government grants has changed over the years from boilers to insulation, Invictus Energy Group is still geared up to stay  at the cutting edge of the efficient homes industry and deliver that same level of outstanding service.

Our experienced team members and surveyors are skilled at assessing home energy opportunities to work out how you can best benefit, whether that’s from a home insulation grant to help you keep hold of the warmth in your home, or a great finance deal on a more energy efficient boiler - sometimes a combination of both!

Once we’ve established and agreed what measures are available to you, our team of expert fitters can make it happen quickly, efficiently and with great skill. 

While the days of free boiler grants are mostly behind us, the introduction of Eco4 part-way through 2022 has opened up new opportunities to make Britain’s homes more energy efficient than ever, retrofitting them with wall, floor and loft insulation to trap more heat inside and lowering those bills. We still have some great finance deals on new boilers, too!

Who We Help

 

Most of our customers start by asking the same question - how can they make their house warmer and spend less money?

Usually the answer is better insulation or more efficient boilers and solar. Where we can, we’ll help those customers apply for government energy grants so some (or sometimes all) of the cost of fitting insulation is covered. Where that’s not possible, our finance partner has affordable finance deals available to suit most budgets and credit scores.

Customer Care

Founding director Paul Murphy felt frustration seeing new boiler customers being treated poorly by competitors. Every industry has its cowboys, from slow service to extortionate bills and Murphy had had enough. 

It’s our goal to cut out the overpriced installations and offer our customers some serious value and quality. That’s why we invest in our customer service staff to make sure they are armed and empowered to make decisions that benefit you as our customers. 

Speed

Whether we’re dealing with boilers or home insulation, we understand that speed and efficiency are important to you, so they are important to us too. 

Even for new boiler installations, we aim to get your new unit installed and operational within 48 hours, while our home insulation and grants surveyors can sometimes arrive within 24 hours of your first call.

Aftercare

With Invictus Energy Group, we don’t believe you stop being our customer once your new home heating measures are successfully installed.

Our aftercare team is available to talk you through any new questions that might arise after installation, arrange boiler servicing, tackle emergency callouts and setup home care insurance where applicable.

 
 

FAQs

  • Free boiler grants used to be available through the government’s ECO3 scheme, however these came to an end in early 2022. HOWEVER, the new ECO4 green grants are set to replace them, helping you save money by addressing the way your home retains heat using better insulation. Check to see if you may be eligible for a home insulation grant with one of our advisors. We also offer some great boiler financing options, too.

  • The new ECO4 grants are on their way and are expected to focus heavily on retrofitting homes with extra insulation to make them more efficient. You can speak to an advisor about them, or check out more information about ECO4 on our GRANTS page

  • The UK Government has undertook responsibility to reduce our country’s carbon footprint, and knows that a major problem is the efficiency of our homes. Because of this, it awards money to the energy sector to fund grant schemes to carry out this work. To get the money, we have to be able to prove that you are eligible, and that your home is suitable for retrofitting, ensuring that the money will be put to good use and improve your EPC rating enough to qualify.

    Wherever possible, a successful grant application will mean that Invictus Energy Group can carry out the insulation work on your home for free, without the need for a client contribution.

  • Whether the grant will cover the whole work you need to insulate your house can depend on a few different factors, and so we can’t be sure until we send one of our expert surveyors to your home to see what options are available. In many cases the government grant will cover the whole work, but if this is not the case we will discuss any client contribution that might be needed with you beforehand so you can make an informed decision.

  • Invictus Energy Group deals with roof insulation, Solid Wall Insulation, Under-floor Insulation and loft insulation. What we can do for you within the scope of a grant will depend on your home’s EPC rating and what measures appear to be suitable and applicable.

  • Absolutely. Our gas engineers are Gas Safe Registered and we consider boiler servicing to be an essential part of our mission to help the UK become more energy efficient and safer.
