Boiler Grants are available for people with disabilities under ECO3 Scheme.

Do you have difficulty with everyday tasks or getting around? You can’t work because you are sick or disabled and receive one of the disability benefits? Then you might be eligible for a boiler grant.

If you receive one of the following benefits for your illness or disability, you might be eligible for the ECO boiler grant:

Disability Living Allowance

DLA is a social security benefit in the united kingdom paid to eligible claimants with personal care or mobility needs. However, the majority of claimants are being moved to personal independence payment. However, if you are under the age of 16, you are still eligible for the DLA.

Personal Independence Payment

Personal independence payment (PIP) benefits people over the age of 16 who need additional help with the costs caused by their long-term ill-health or disability.

Attendance Allowance

Attendance allowance benefits people over the state pension age who have a disability and need someone to look after them.

Employment and support allowance

ESA- you receive this benefit if you have a disability or health condition that affect how much you can work.

The government boiler grant scheme offers boiler replacement and underfloor insulation for qualifying properties.

If you have a long term illness or a disability and own your home, you might be eligible for a boiler replacement under the ECO 3 Scheme. This scheme aims to help low-income and vulnerable people receive home improvements to make your home more energy-efficient, warmer, and reduce their energy bills.

Who qualifies for a boiler grant?

  • You must be a homeowner or live with the homeowner

  • You must receive qualifying benefits.

  • Your boiler is older than six years.

Is boiler scheme free?

The boiler scheme is free, and you will not need to repay it. However, the amount of funding is based on the type of property you own and not the benefits. In many cases, you will get your boiler replaced for free. However, in some cases, a contribution might be required. This is why we offer a free no-obligation survey.
