Do I qualify for a boiler grant?
You might be eligible for a free boiler if you receive child benefit or child tax credit. However, the amount of funding awarded is based on the type of property you own rather than the benefits you receive. Therefore, you can get a free boiler in many cases if you receive child benefit or child tax credit, but sometimes a contribution might be required.
If you receive child benefit, you might be eligible for the boiler replacement scheme. However, child benefit is the only benefit that has an income cap that you might meet.
