If you care for someone more than 35 hours per week and they receive one of the qualifying benefits, you might be eligible for Carers Allowance. You will be eligible for the carers allowance if you are over the age of 16, care for someone for more than 35 hours per week. You don’t have to be living with them to qualify for the benefit.
Homeowners in receipt of carers allowance are eligible for the ECO boiler funding.
If you own your home, receive a carer’s allowance, and your boiler is older than six years, you might be eligible for a government-backed boiler grant. You might also qualify for additional funding to insulate the underfloor in your property if you have a suspended floor or cellar/basement in your property.
What support am I eligible for under the boiler grant?
Underfloor Insulation

Boiler Replacement
If you are a homeowner and your boiler is older than six years, you will be eligible for boiler replacement under the scheme.
First Time Central Heating Grant
If you live in a property that does not have and never has had a boiler or radiators installed in the property, you might be eligible for a First-Time Central Heating grant under the scheme. Tenants can also qualify for the first-time central heating grant.
Smart Heating Controls
During every successful install, you will receive free smart hive active heating controls that will allow you to control your heat remotely and set the heating sch3edule according to your needs.
Will my boiler be free?
The boiler grant is free, and you will not need to pay it back. However, boiler funding is awarded based on the property and the energy-saving measures installed in your property rather than the benefits you receive. In many cases, your boiler will be free, and no contribution will be required. In some cases, where the full amount of funding.

You can get a boiler warranty for up to 10 years
We offer a wide range of boilers to fit. As a standard, we offer a Glowworm boiler with a five-year warranty that boiler warranty can be upgraded to 10 years in some cases. You can have any other boiler of your choice. However, this might incur additional charges.
