Covid-19: ECO 3 boiler grant is still available for the qualifying properties

Covid 19 had a significant impact on the communities around the country. Many have lost their jobs and had to claim benefits to pay their bills. Many people had to work from home or have been furloughed, which led them to spend more time at home, which means higher energy bills.

Am I entitled to a boiler grant?

If you had to claim benefits during the pandemic and own your home, you might be entitled to a boiler grant. Your boiler must be older than six years to be eligible for the funding.

All properties are given a Lifetime Saving Score which is worked out using property type, number of bedrooms, and a wall type. Based on that, the amount of funding will be worked out. In most cases, the full amount of funding is provided, and no contribution is required. However, if the contribution is required, the surveyor will discuss this with you during the no-obligation survey.
