Government ECO scheme can help you reduce your carbon footprint

The average property in the UK produces 2.7 tonnes of carbon from heating their property. That is the same weight as five polar bears. However, properties across the UK could reduce this number by increasing the energy efficiency of the property.

An average EPC score is D in the United Kingdom and accounts for 60% of properties. This number is lower in the North West. According to the article written by the Telegraph, households across the North West in the areas such as Liverpool and Manchester are likelier to pay higher energy bills for the next 30 years because of how inefficient the properties are.

Increase your house value with the free or heavily subsidised grants

The Energy Company Obligation Scheme (ECO 3) offers low-income and vulnerable households grants to make their homes more energy-efficient, reduce energy bills, and in the process, increase house value.

The ECO scheme offers households a wide range of energy-saving methods such as underfloor insulation, boiler replacement and smart heating controls to reduce energy consumption.

Invictus Energy Group offers underfloor insulation and boiler grants for qualifying households

If you are a homeowner and receive one of the qualifying benefits and your boiler is older than six years, you might be eligible for the ECO funding.

Can I get a free boiler grant?

The funding is awarded based on the type of property that you own. The boiler funding is free, and you will not need to pay it back. However, the amount of funding available is based on the property type, and a contribution might be required. This is why we are offering a free no-obligation survey to all our clients to advise you what works can be carried out at the property and if a contribution will be needed.
