ECO Boiler Grant
How to get an ECO Boiler Grant?
We often hear: am I eligible for a grant for a new boiler, am I entitled to a boiler grant?
Thanks to the Government’s Energy Companies Obligation(ECO) scheme, qualifying homeowners with low income on government’s benefits might be eligible for a free boiler to ensure affordable warmth to everyone.
What is a Boiler Grant?
A boiler grant is a form of funding that enables homeowners on low income to have their old boilers replaced with a brand-new energy-efficient boiler at little or no cost. The aim of the scheme is not only to support families on low income to have access to heating and hot water but also to improve energy efficiency around the country. Boiler grants are non-repayable and are subsidised by the big six.
A new boiler helps reduce the carbon footprint for the household. Also, according to Energy Saving Trust, a brand new boiler could help you reduce your energy bill and save you up to £315 on your annual energy bill.

Who is eligible for a Boiler Grant?
The Government Boiler Grant scheme has strict criteria which applicants must meet. Some of the requirements you will have to meet:
You have to be a homeowner or live with the homeowner;
Your boiler must be six years old or older;
Someone in the property must receive one of the qualifying benefits.
How do I apply for the Invictus Boiler Grants?
To apply for the UK government ECO3 scheme, we worked to make the process as simple as possible. The application takes less than 30s. To apply click the link here and fill out our application.
A member of our team will call you within one working day to discuss your application and book a survey. During the call, the information you will provide will help us identify how much funding is available to your property, and we will be able to arrange a boiler installation.
Do I need to pay anything towards the boiler replacement?
The funding available is based on the type and size of the property that you own. In most cases, you will receive the full amount of funding, and no contribution is needed. However, in some cases, a small contribution is required.
During the survey, the surveyor will advise you how much funding is available for your property and if a contribution is required.
What if I can't afford the contribution?
We teamed up with Payl8r to offer flexible repayment plans to spread the cost of your contribution for up to 12 months. To learn more about Payl8r, please visit the dedicated page.
